<div> Da qualche giorno sto pensando di scrivere un post per recensire quei siti, quali ad esempio <a href="http://www.mondoinformatico.info/">mondoinformatico.info</a>, che ti danno la possibilit&agrave; di <strong>pubblicare pur non essendo proprietario di alcun <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/blog" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Blog">blog</a></strong>. In realt&agrave; se pubblichi su questo genere di siti &egrave; perch&egrave;, <strong>con molta probabilit&agrave;</strong>, vuol dire che sei un appassionato di internet, hai gi&agrave; un tuo <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/blog" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Blog">blog</a> e cerchi di dargli <strong>maggiore visibilit&agrave;</strong>. </div>

<div> Quest&#8217;obiettivo, cio&egrave; maggiore visibilit&agrave; <strong>che altro non vuol dire maggiori visite</strong>, pu&ograve; essere perseguito per le pi&ugrave; svariate ragioni, tra le quali senz&#8217;altro: </div>
<ul>
<li>divertimento e soddisfazione personale per la divulgazione di contenuti, magari anche gi&agrave; presenti su internet ma con l&#8217;intento di migliorarli; </li>
<li>pubblicizzazione di prodotti/servizi; </li>
<li>guadagni con Adsense (la pubblicit&agrave; di <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/google" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Google">Google</a>). </li>
</ul>
<div> Se stiamo ben a vedere, secondo me, <strong>quasi tutto si muove intorno alla &#8220;soddisfazione personale&#8221;</strong> se si considera che la pubblicit&agrave; segue ben altre strade che quelle di un post pubblicato su un <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/social-network" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Social Network">social network</a> e che i guadagni con Adsense quasi sempre, credo, sono molto limitati e possono soddisfare, forse, solo le esigenze di un giovane studente. </div>
<div> Beh, quali che siano le ragioni per cercare di incrementare le visite, effettivamente ci sono delle regole da seguire che ritengo di poter indicare: </div>
<ol>
<li>il <strong>contenuto</strong> deve essere <strong>interessante</strong> e richiamare l&#8217;attenzione degli internauti; </li>
<li> <strong>creativit&agrave;</strong>, ovvero evita il copia e incolla, oppure comunque parti da un post esistente e modificalo facendolo tuo (stessa cosa la potresti ottenere leggendo, leggendo, leggendo e poi riscrivendo sullo stesso argomento); </li>
<li>il <strong>linguaggio</strong> deve essere <strong>adeguato</strong> all&#8217;argomento; </li>
<li> <strong>costanza</strong>. Non pretendere che 10 post pubblicati nello stesso giorno siano sufficienti per tutto il mese! Scrivi e pubblica con regolarit&agrave; da <strong>passista</strong>; </li>
<li> <strong>segnala il <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/blog" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Blog">blog</a> nei principali <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/motori-di-ricerca" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Motori di Ricerca">motori di ricerca</a></strong>; </li>
<li> <strong>pubblica i tuoi post nei principali aggregatori</strong> di notizie (tipo OkNotizie); </li>
<li>iscrivi il tuo Feed Rss agli <strong>aggregatori di feed</strong>; </li>
<li> <strong>segnala il tuo <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/blog" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Blog">blog</a></strong> nei siti appositi. </li>
</ol>
<div> Nella mia breve esperienza vi posso dire che <strong>i primi 4 punti</strong>, forse in quanto ovvi, li ho seguiti, quantomeno inizialmente, senza&nbsp; pensarci. In realt&agrave; il mio <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/blog" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Blog">blog</a> <a href="http://lucapacini.it/">lucapacini.it</a> bench&egrave; presente in rete fin dal 2002 non &egrave; mai stato visitato pi&ugrave; di tanto (le visite erano generate quasi tutte da me) essendo utilizzato quasi esclusivamente come un men&ugrave; di link utili per il mio lavoro (lo utilizzo anche adesso e l&#8217;ho parcheggiato <a href="http://www.lucapacini.50g.com/">qui</a>). Ma da quando ho installato Wordpress ed ho iniziato a pubblicare i post &#8230;. in pochi giorni le visite sono cresciute a dismisura, toccando punte anche di quasi 1500&nbsp; utenti unici!<br /> Per il punto 5 vi segnalo i link seguenti:<br /> <a href="http://www.google.it/intl/it/add_url.html">Google</a><br /> <a href="https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit">Yahoo!</a><br /> <a href="http://beta.search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx">Live Search</a> </div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you publish articles online to increase your web presence? If so, I have some hard-earned lessons you&#8217;ll find helpful.
<p> First, I have to get something out of the way. Now I don&#8217;t say this to brag or boast. I say it because it&#8217;s entirely relevant to this article. As of this writing, I&#8217;ve published hundreds of articles through several distribution channels such as EzineArticles.com. </p>
<p> These articles have generated thousands of backlinks to my various websites. Combined, they&#8217;ve earned over 93,000 page views. And they&#8217;ve landed on websites ranging from Lycos to the National Associate of Realtors. </p>
<p> Why do I tell you all this? Because along the way, I&#8217;ve learned some article <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/marketing" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Marketing">marketing</a> lessons you might find helpful. </p>
<p> Lesson #1 &#8211; Put Quality Before Quantity </p>
<p> Poorly written articles don&#8217;t make it very far online. If you start pumping articles through the article directories without giving them the attention they deserve, you&#8217;ll be in for some disappointing results. You won&#8217;t get very many page views, you won&#8217;t get much exposure, and you won&#8217;t generate many backlinks to your website or <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/blog" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Blog">blog</a>. </p>
<p> On the other hand, if you take the time to craft an article that&#8217;s helpful, well-written, interesting and engaging, it will travel far online. Here&#8217;s an example: </p>
<p> I was checking my backlinks one day, and I found that one of my articles had been published on a top-level directory of Lycos.com (with a direct link to my website). If I asked Lycos to link to my site, they probably would&#8217;ve ignored me. But because they enjoyed my article, they published it and linked to me without me having to ask them. </p>
<p> Lesson #2 &#8211; Create an Interesting Title </p>
<p> Comparing the stats on more than 100 articles can reveal a lot. You can scan through the page views and see which articles get the most readership. After a while, patterns emerge. My most successful article titles have had the following things in common: </p>
<p> * They were written to pique the reader&#8217;s curiosity<br /> * They were specific, often using numbers (like this article)<br /> * They identified the audience in some way<br /> * They often used &#8220;how to&#8221; statements<br /> * They promised value and benefit </p>
<p> Lesson #3 &#8211; Avoid Sensationalism in Your Titles </p>
<p> As an experiment, I once wrote two articles about the mortgage loan process. The articles were similar in content. Both offered helpful information in step-by-step format. Both were factual and accurate. And in my opinion, both were well-written. </p>
<p> But the titles were different. One title was straightforward and specific: &#8220;Mortgage Loans 101 &#8211; How to Prepare for Closing Costs.&#8221; The other title was a little more over the top: &#8220;Your Credit Report &#8211; The Most Helpful Article You&#8217;ll Ever Read.&#8221; </p>
<p> The straightforward &#8220;How to&#8221; title generated five times as many page views as the sensationalistic title. As a result, it got published a lot more. Straightforward, specific titles that promise to help the reader perform better than grandiose titles. </p>
<p> Lesson #4 &#8211; Organize Your Article Well </p>
<p> This lesson comes from being a publisher as well as a writer. I&#8217;ve built several content websites, and in the process I&#8217;ve screened thousands of articles, looking for quality work to publish. </p>
<p> Once I find an article that matches my topical needs, I look at the article&#8217;s organization. Is it laid out in a logical way, or is it all over the place? I know from experience that if the ideas within an article are well-organized, the writer&#8217;s mind is well-organized as well. So an organized article usually indicates a quality article. </p>
<p> Lesson #5 &#8211; Outline Before You Write </p>
<p> Creating an outline will help immensely as you sit down to write the first draft of your article. Your outline doesn&rsquo;t have to be complex. Forget about those Roman numerals from English Composition 101. All you really need to do is plan how you want to begin, what points you want to cover, and how you want to end the article. </p>
<p> When writing, there&#8217;s a tendency to wander off track. An outline will help you stay on task. Remember, publishers will be more inclined to republish your article if it&#8217;s well-written, and organization is a big part of &#8220;well-written.&#8221; </p>
<p> Lesson #6 &#8211; Write for the Web </p>
<p> Your articles will travel farther if they&#8217;re formatted for easy online reading. This means offering an advanced summary or introduction, using plenty of headers and bullet points, and keeping paragraphs reasonably short (3 &#8211; 7 lines). </p>
<p> As a publisher, I can&#8217;t tell you how many articles I&#8217;ve passed up because they contained huge, dense blocks of text with few paragraph breaks. </p>
<p> Lesson #7 &#8211; You Have to Give to Get </p>
<p> Some people say you should hold back in your articles, that you don&#8217;t want to give away too much &#8220;meat&#8221; for free. &#8220;Just touch on the topic,&#8221; these people will tell you, &#8220;and then direct readers to a website where they can get the real nuts-and-bolts.&#8221; </p>
<p> Forget that notion. Articles without substance have no business being published online. They certainly won&#8217;t make it very far. If you&#8217;re concerned about &#8220;giving away the farm,&#8221; then take one piece of your topic and cover it completely. Then point the reader to your website where they can learn more (or download your e-book, or sign up for your <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/newsletter" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Newsletter">newsletter</a>, etc.). </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Landing pages have the ability to grab and hold us like fly no-fly paper or repel us like jumping on the trampling. The question is what impact does your <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/landing-page" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Landing Page">landing page</a> have on the people who visit your website. As I talk to people who are just getting into SEO (<a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/search-engine-optimization" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Search Engine Optimization">search engine optimization</a>), all they focus on our rankings in traffic. We have to remember that &ldquo;rankings&rdquo; and &ldquo;traffic&rdquo; are not the end but a means to the end. That end is visitors to your site that take advantage of the solutions that you offer. We can have a lot of traffic to our website but if no one is sticking around long enough to see if our solutions can solve their problems then that traffic does not mean anything.
<p> A lot of thought must go into your landing pages, both from a search engine perspective and from a customer perspective. </p>
<p> From a Search Engine perspective: </p>
<p> This is covered in Search Engines 101 Paid Vs Natural Search so I am not going to go into detail here. </p>
<p> From a Customer Perspective: </p>
<p> Your <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/landing-page" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Landing Page">landing page</a> has to do one thing, answer the questions that the searcher had in mind when he typed in his key words. The searcher type in his search terms because he has a problem, needs a solution or is in some kind of &ldquo;pain&rdquo;. You have about two seconds to convince him that you understand what he is going through and what he needs. The last thing a searcher wants to see is that you can jump higher, run faster and do it better than the competition. He just doesn&#8217;t care (yet). Besides, most of the websites that he already visited probably stated that they do that. The challenge is to show the searcher that you have the answers to his needs. How do we do that? </p>
<p> 1. Think of as many questions as you can that might be on the mind of a visitor to that specific <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/landing-page" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Landing Page">landing page</a>. </p>
<p> 2. Choose one of the questions to be the title of that specific <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/landing-page" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Landing Page">landing page</a>. Use the other questions as sub points or topics in the outline of the page. </p>
<p> 3. The content underneath each heading will be a description of the problem. It is very important that when you describe the problem you do it from your client&#8217;s perspective. </p>
<p> 4. After describing two or three scenarios that your client may fall into closeout with the paragraph that describes your qualifications for dealing with the above scenarios. This is where you put in how me years of experience, the combined experience of your team or your experience in the marketplace. </p>
<p> 5. The last thing is to have a <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/call-to-action" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Call to Action">call to action</a>. The idea is that if your client falls into one of the scenarios described it would be natural for them to do the call for action to get help with their problem. </p>
<p> For example, if someone is doing a search on long-term care insurance they may only have a general idea of what you&#8217;re looking for. When they come to a <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/landing-page" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Landing Page">landing page</a> that has a question like &ldquo;what happens to your nest egg if you suffer an illness or an injury that requires long-term care?&rdquo; Then in the description of the problem they read that one year of long-term care can cost between $90,000 and $130,000 and as a result of this high costs it will either force you into bankruptcy or dependency on your children or family to take care of you. (Not a pretty picture.) After you add your qualifications, whatever they are, you put in your <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/call-to-action" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Call to Action">call to action</a>. It could be something like &ldquo;for a free quote and help in understanding what your options are fill out form below and one of our experts will contact you within the next 48 hours&rdquo;. </p>
<p> So the question remains, are your landing pages flypaper or trampolines? If you are not sure give us a call and we will do a free evaluation of your site. This will help determine whether or not changes or in order. </p>

Sure, you can submit to directories and exchange links with other websites, but they will not directly provide much traffic. Now, it&rsquo;s probably fair to say that you should focus almost all of your online <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/marketing" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Marketing">marketing</a> efforts to ranking well in the most popular search engines. Below, I&rsquo;ll list some tips to help you do just that.
<p> Target Specific Key Phrases </p>
<p> Try to think what keywords a potential customer or client is going to use to search for a business in your industry. Now, take those keywords and make them more into more specific key phrases. For example, if you are a website designer, then you would want to use a key phrase to give your term a geographical focus like: &ldquo;Windsor Ontario website design&rdquo;. Or, if you specialize in small business website design, use: &ldquo;small business website design&rdquo;. You want to stay away from keywords that are too general because they are very competitive terms. If you choose to target &ldquo;website design&rdquo;, you&rsquo;re going to be competing against every other web designer around the world &ndash; good luck! </p>
<p> On-Page Optimization </p>
<p> Now that you have chosen just a few specific keywords, we need to include them in your website so the search engines will know that your business relates to those terms. Try to only target one or two keywords or key phrases per page. Be sure to include these keywords or phrases in you Title tag, Meta Description tag, and Meta Keywords tag. Don&rsquo;t worry about the Meta Keywords tag too much &ndash; the search engines (<a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/google" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Google">Google</a> Especially) give this tag little or no weight when determining search engine relevancy. Here are some more ways to include your keywords or phrases in your pages: </p>
<p> H1 or H2 Tags: why not include an H1 tag right at the top of the page with your key phrase. Follow that up with an H2 tag including another key phrase or word. But, make sure that you use both tags, in use them in the proper order &ndash; H2 following H1. </p>
<p> Body of Page: make sure you include your key phrases in the text in the body of the web page. Make sure that it sounds natural, though. Don&rsquo;t include it too many times or you may be penalized for &ldquo;key word stuffing&rdquo;. </p>
<p> Bold, Italics &#038; Underline: in the body of your web page, try to use these tags to emphasize your keywords. </p>
<p> Bulleted Lists: try to include your key phrases in a bulleted list. Remember, it should look natural. </p>
<p> Alternate Text Tags: include alternate text to describe the various images on your website. This tag allows blind Internet users to understand what images you have on your site. Search engines index this information and you can use it to your advantage by including a couple key phrases. </p>
<p> Include Relevant Content </p>
<p> Content is now king when it comes to <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/search-engine-optimization" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Search Engine Optimization">search engine optimization</a> today. Why should your website be important if it doesn&rsquo;t include any information that could interest a visitor? Including information and articles regarding your product, services, or industry is the best way to let the search engines know that your website really matters. There are hundreds of article directories that allow you to freely use their articles on your website. All you are asked to do is provide a link to the author&rsquo;s website at the end of the article. If possible, try to write a few articles yourself so you can have some original content. <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/google" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Google">Google</a> and the other search engines will know if you are using someone else&rsquo;s article. There&rsquo;s nothing wrong with this, although they will give you a lot more credit if the work is original. My last suggestion: update your website on a regular basis. At least every month you should be adding some new content to your website. The search engines want to give the high rankings to websites that have fresh content added on a regular basis. </p>
<p> Conclusion </p>

Nobody really knows how the search engines determine where a site will rank in the search results. The preceding article will give you the basic knowledge to obtain a decent position. You will have to continually fine-tune your website and analyze a competitor&rsquo;s website to improve your positioning. Unfortunately, it still doesn&rsquo;t end there. There are a number of off-page factors that determine how well your website will rank. I will discuss these factors in a later article, but this is a good place to start for now. </p>

If it doesn&rsquo;t succinctly explain exactly what your website offers, as well as containing your keyword phrase as discussed in Search Engine Mistake #1, then you&rsquo;re missing out significantly on website visitors.
<p> What is a website page title? </p>
<p> The page title is the writing in the blue bar at the top of a web page, and originates in the Meta Tags, which are a set of instructions for search engines and technicians at the beginning of your web page. These Meta Tags are not displayed in the normal view of your website. However, (assuming your are using Internet Explorer) all you have to do is click on the &lsquo;View&rsquo; tab at the top of the page and then select &lsquo;Source&rsquo; to view the code behind your website. </p>
<p> Your page title will be in-between the two &lsquo;HTML Tags&rsquo; and (which indicates the start and end of the page title). </p>
<p> Your page title is also shown as the clickable title link displayed in search results, if your site has been found using a search engine query. </p>
<p> The most common page title mistake that businesses make </p>
<p> Most businesses are proud of their brand name. Unfortunately that means that they want their brand name all over their website. Including all the areas that should be used for keyword phrases instead. Businesses HAVE to find a way to take independent advice AND act upon it without their brand coloured glasses on when deciding on their website page title. </p>
<p> How to write an effective page title </p>
<p> A page title should be between 10 and 60 characters long &ndash; including spaces. Any longer, and it may be cut when appearing in search engine results. It should ideally JUST be the keyword phrase that you have decided on for your page (Refer to The 10 Biggest <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/search-engine-optimization" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Search Engine Optimization">Search Engine Optimization</a> Mistakes: #1: Wrong Keywords). </p>
<p> A good example of an effective page title would be &lsquo;Internet <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/marketing" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Marketing">Marketing</a> Consultant&rsquo;. </p>
<p> The second best example of an effective page title would also include the brand name &ndash; for example, &lsquo;David Bain &#8211; Internet <a href="http://www.masteringlandingpages.com/tag/marketing" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Post marcati con Marketing">Marketing</a> Consultant&rsquo;. This effectiveness of this title is however diminished compared to the first example. </p>

If found in search engine results, hardly anyone would visit the site because the title doesn&rsquo;t denote what the website is about. In addition, the chances of appearing in desired search engine results would be reduced significantly due to the lack of keywords. </p>
